Charlie Austin - Editor

Charlie is an award winning editor in Los Angeles, CA. A former working musician, he attended the Boston University College of Communication. After graduation, he worked in live event & trade show production—staging, lighting, live mixing, video walls/projection—on the east coast. He then relocated to Los Angeles, and spent a glamorous couple years as a production freelancer—grip, gaffer, sound, electric, etc. Mostly for MTV and Vin Di Bona productions.

Charlie then moved from production into post, working full-time as a Post Audio Mixer, mixing Trailers & TV Spots, Agency Commercials and Indie Features. He later went to work for one of his clients, Trailer Park, to set up an in-house mixing room. During that process, he accidentally cut a TV spot that went to finish, and became an Editor. After a number of years, he moved to Fishbowl where he has continued cutting away.

Charlie has created content for Sony, Paramount, Fox, Dreamworks, Lionsgate, Universal, Warner Bros., Apple, and many others. He's honored to have won some Golden trailer and Key Art awards.
